Effective January 1, 2011, New Hampshire will accept the “designated home state” for adjusters who live in states without a resident adjuster license. This change will eliminate the non-resident adjuster continuing education requirements. However, resident adjusters will be required to complete the New Hampshire approved continuing education for future renewals.
Currently, New Hampshire requires non-residents who are reinstating an expired license to meet the continuing education requirement unless they are residents of the following states: AK, AL, AR, CA, DE, FL, GA, LA, MN, MS, MT, NC, OK, TX, UT and WY.
