Insurance Licensing Update: Illinois - New Federal Insurance Officer - Supportive Insurance Services

Illinois Insurance Director, Michael McRaith, will be heading up the Federal Insurance Office (FIO). He will be an employee of the Treasury Department and a non-voting member of the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC).

McRaith will remain with the Illinois Insurance Department through May. He is currently the secretary-treasurer of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
