Utah- Insurance Licensing Update: Three Hour Training Required for Selling Long Term Care Insurance - Supportive Insurance Services

Effective May 10, 2011, Utah residents licensed to sell accident and health insurance must complete three hours of initial training before selling Long Term Care Insurance.

In addition, residents licensed to sell accident and health insurance must complete three hours as part of the ongoing training during every 24-month licensing period.

Licensed individuals who have completed longer courses for other state requirements-based on NAIC content-will be permitted to use this training to meet Utah’s requirements.
