All licensees must provide a contact address to the Colorado Division of Insurance upon licensure.   Renewal notices are sent to the address provided on Division Records.

As of August 1, 2010, the Division will begin imposing a minimum of a $100 fine for failure of a producer to change an address within thirty (30) days. An applicable surcharge (currently at 10%) will also be imposed.  The Division may also impose other penalties including suspension and revocation of the producer license.
