Utah’s new three-hour Long Term Care Insurance (LTCI) training requirement for resident accident and health producers was signed by the Governor and goes into effect on May 10, 2011.

In addition, residents licensed to sell accident and health insurance must complete three hours as part of the ongoing training during every 24-month licensing period.

Licensed individuals who have completed longer courses for other state requirements-based on NAIC content-will be permitted to use this training to meet Utah’s requirements.
