Insurance Licensing Update: California Surplus Lines - Supportive Insurance Services

Effective immediately, surplus lines brokers may renew their individual and business entity insurance licenses online in California.

NOTE: The online system only allows for one renewal per renewal cycle. The online system cannot process a renewal for a line of insurance and then process the surplus lines renewal on another date. The online system will only work if all of the licenses renew simultaneously. The licensee must submit a request for exemption from the online filing requirement if the licenses renew on different dates.
