Insurance Licensing Update: DC - Supportive Insurance Services

Effective Monday, August 9, 2010, all applicants who pass the license examination to become a resident Insurance Producer in DC, must submit to fingerprint and a background checks through the DC Metropolitan Police Department in order to obtain a license.

Every nonresident producer who becomes a resident producer on or after August 9, 2010, must also submit to fingerprinting and background checks.
