Louisiana has added New Initial Resident licensing options for individuals and agencies via NIPR.  Resident licensees are encouraged to file electronically for the fastest processing.

  • Resident Initial Individual Producer for Limited Lines (limited life, credit &
  • travel)
  • Resident Initial Individual Producer for Variable Life & Variable Annuities.
  • Resident Initial Business Entity Producer (all lines of authority)
  • Resident Initial Business Entity Adjuster

Nonresident license renewal options were added via NIPR.  Nonresident electronic filing is mandatory.

  • Nonresident Individual Surplus Lines Renewals
  • Nonresident Business Entity Renewals (producers & adjusters).
