The Massachusetts Division of Insurance is using National Insurance Producer Registry (“NIPR”) for both original surplus lines broker applications and surplus lines broker license renewals.
The Division will continue to accept paper surplus lines broker initial and renewal applications until September 17, 2012. The Division will not accept paper applications, or process fees on and after September 17, 2012.
