New York- Insurance Licensing Update: NY Insurance Dept. Adds Part 224.0 to Insurance Regulations - Supportive Insurance Services

The New York Insurance Department has added Part 224.0 to its insurance regulations to have similar standards and provisions as the NAIC Annuity Suitability Model Law and NAIC Rule 2310.

Approximately 30 states have adopted standards and provisions similar to the NAIC Annuity Suitability Model Law. NASD Rule 2310 has been in place for about 20 years.
