Insurance Licensing Update - Washington: Non-Resident Producer Applications - Supportive Insurance Services

As of September 27, 2010, the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner is accepting non-resident producer applications through NIPR. The applications accepted are:

Producer only
Full lines only (Life, Disability, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines, Variable)
Applicants with “Yes” answers to background questions will be accepted

Applicants interested in applying online for other license types (limited lines, surplus lines, life settlement broker, adjuster) may do so on Washington’s website (www.insurance.wa.gov).

In addition, Washington is now accepting non-resident producer renewals with “Yes” answers to background questions. These types of renewals were previously not accepted through NIPR.
