The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) announced the Market Conduct Annual Statement (MCAS) system will be revised. The updated system will allow users to access data on a state level as well as a national level.
The majority of state insurance departments have agreed to use the revised system to collect market conduct data from 2010. The automated system is expected to be available in the spring of 2011.
The revised MCAS system is part of the ongoing efforts to standardize insurance processes, procedures and regulations.
