All North Carolina annual company appointment renewals for 2011-2012 must be processed through NIPR on their website at www.nipr.com.

NoteAny appointment that is active on January 26, 2011 will be included in the invoice and payment is required.

  • The Department requires companies use the NIPR CARR (company appointment reconciliation report) to terminate appointments.  Questions about CARR should be directed to NIPR Customer Service at 816-783-8468.  The Department will not provide any reports.
  • Appointment terminations must be received by NIPR no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 24, 2011 in order to be processed and posted before the renewal billings are created.
  • Appointments and terminations submitted after 5:00 p.m. on January 24, 2011 will be held in an ‘awaiting validation’ status until January 31, 2011.  Companies will be billed and must pay for the annual appointment fee for terminations submitted during this period.

The NIPR website will have the appointment renewal invoice and a list of company appointments posted on January 31, 2011.  Companies may not terminate or cross-off any names from the invoice.  Invoices are due April 1, 2011.  If the payment is less than the amount due, the Department will not renew any appointments.

All invoices not paid no later than May 16, 2011, will be removed from the website.  The Department will cancel all company appointments that have not been paid by May 16, 2011.
