Esther began working at Supportive Insurance Services in September 2006. After gaining valuable experience as an insurance licensing administrator, Esther became responsible for new client set-up.  In this capacity, she is responsible for on-boarding all new clients, assuring that all necessary information is received.  Because she loves technology, she is our “go-to” person for troubleshooting system issues and computer equipment. In addition, she’s our resident meteorologist and frequently entertains the staff singing her personalized versions of songs for special occasions.

Here are a few things you need to know about Esther:

What’s your favorite vacation spot or ideal vacation?  Some of my best vacations have been in the mountains. I loved it in Alaska, Montana and Tennessee. But, I enjoy seeing the ocean too, and my all-time favorite vacation spot would be Hawaii.

Do you have any favorite sports team(s)? There is only one game & one team for me…football & the COLTS!!! I bleed blue!

What is your guilty pleasure? Buying pens. I love pens. Especially ones with cool barrel styles and most importantly color! The color is important because I prefer that my pen match the outfit (shirt primarily) that I am wearing. I really should own stock in Pilot and PENSRUS pen companies!

Who is your favorite Disney character? Uh, who was it….oh yeah, DORY

Do you have an embarrassing moment? I have had so many embarrassing moments, but the best one had to be when I slipped walking down a sidewalk, tumbled across someone’s yard and ran into the moving van that was sitting in front of their house. The van shifts slightly off its axle, but I thought “well thank God I didn’t land on my face!” Then, I hear a voice (knowing it’s not an angel voice) say “I think we’ve been hit!” and a kid pops out of the back of the moving van! Mortified he looks at me and asks if I was ok. I promptly said “yes” and made my way on down the street!

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grow up? A singer like Dolly Parton. Little did I know that my singing ability (while not too bad) wouldn’t be the thing that ended up “imitating” her best in my life!

What is your favorite thing about working at Supportive? The work environment!! From the moment I started here at Supportive Insurance Services, I knew that this was going to be a great place to work at! When you work for someone who cares about not only their company’s growth, but the people who make up that company…well, it changes the dynamics of the job. Having a job that is flexible & working with a group of people that care about each other & their work; that is truly unique in today’s business world. I couldn’t think of a better place to work, a better person to work for & a better group of people to work with!
